Why is the choice of swimsuit important?

In the summer, if there’s one item of clothing you’ll wear, it’s your swimsuit. Essential for swimming at the beach or in the pool , it is also increasingly worn throughout the day. We owe this trend in particular to swim shorts . It is quite common to keep it on for several hours after or before swimming. This is why it is often banned in public swimming pools. The swimsuit has become an essential item of clothing that must be chosen carefully! It must obviously meet style criteria but it is also important to choose comfortable swimwear to be worn all day.

Comfort without sacrificing style

The first mistake when choosing your swimsuit would be to choose it solely for its aesthetic qualities without thinking about the comfort and quality of the product.
Today it is possible to find swimsuits combining the two. To make your choice, you must first know your body type . This will allow you to choose a swimsuit model, the goal being to find the one that will suit you perfectly and which will highlight your shape while camouflaging your little complexes. We can therefore distinguish 4 main types of body shape: the A-shaped, H-shaped, V-shaped and O-shaped silhouettes.

Different body shapes in men

V-shaped morphology: The V-shaped morphology is the reference morphology. She represents the dream silhouette for many men. The bust and shoulders are broad and muscular, the waist is thin. The figure is slender and the legs are thin.

H or Square Morphology: The shoulders are the width of the hips. The size is not very marked. Men with an H body shape have a squarer build. They have a rather flat torso and little stomach. This is a fairly common silhouette among men.

O-shaped body shape: The build is rather generous. These are men with a little belly but thin legs.

The A or Triangle morphology : In men, the A morphology is quite rare. Generally they are rather round men. The waist and hips are wider than the shoulders.

The different swimsuit cuts

There is such a variety of models, cuts and colors that it sometimes becomes a real headache to know which swimsuit is really made for us. Here is a quick recap of the different swimwear cuts.

Swim shorts

Swim shorts are a beach essential. Undoubtedly the most common swimsuit cut, it is particularly appreciated for its versatile look. Ideal for swimming  , it is also often worn as city shorts . Swim shorts are suitable for all situations and all body types. With its often quite loose cut , which falls more or less low on the thighs, it is the perfect compromise between swim boxers and broadshorts , also called long shorts. Long considered less comfortable than swimming briefs or boxers, swimming shorts have since evolved and now present new improvements in terms of comfort . Most swim shorts have mesh inner briefs for more support . Note also the presence of a front mesh pocket such as the Kango pocket in certain models from Addicted or ES Collection . So you will be comfortable all day long. When choosing your swim shorts,  the length will be important depending on how you are built:
